2000 R1150RT Review
The BMW R1150RT boasts a sturdy design that incorporates resilience to salty roads. Particularly, brakes are more weather-resistant than most competitors. Numerous bikes can travel more than 100,000 miles without experiencing any severe issues. Small patches of rust and the occasional electrical hiccup are not unheard of.
The BMW R1150RT's lightweight chassis and excellent engineering result in excellent handling. It's even more shocking considering how sporty-looking the R1150RT is compared to a brieze block. Its dry weight of 255kg is relatively low for a complete tourer. Wet weight is frequently cited, which makes the motorcycle sound hefty. Anti-lock brakes with servo assistance and linking are the best.
The BMW R1150RT provides exceptional comfort for one or two people. The screen may be moved while moving with the press of a button, and the seat and bars can be adjusted at a standstill. Panniers are provided and perform admirably. There are several accessories available, including BMW's excellent heated grips.
